Fortuna Digital exists for one reason.
Businesses should not have to bend around bad software. We build digital tools around the process, not the other way round.
What we hold to
Software adapts to the operation
Not the reverse. If a tool demands that the business contorts itself, it is the wrong tool.
Draw it before building it
A system you cannot sketch on one sheet of paper is not understood yet. The plan comes before the code.
Few parts, clearly joined
Most problems appear not inside a part but between two. So: as few handovers as possible.
Done means in use
Not signed off, not deployed. In use, by the people it was built for.
Who
One studio, one person to talk to.
Fortuna Digital is Kevin Mattiazzo. A sole proprietorship in Zurich, no layer in between: whoever writes here talks to the person who also builds.
For parts that need specialist skills — photography, copy, law — people join who do it better. Who works on a project is named in the quote beforehand.

Not VAT-registered means no value-added tax is added to quotes or invoices. The amount named is the amount.
How a project runs
Four phases. The same four you will find again in the client portal — you can see where your project stands at any time.
- 01
Understand
A conversation about the business, not about software. Where time is lost, what gets entered twice, what annoys your people daily. It ends with the problem written down — free and without obligation.
- 02
Draw
Before a line of code exists, the system gets drawn: which parts there are and how they connect. What cannot be drawn is not yet understood. The fixed-price quote follows.
- 03
Build
Built in visible steps. You get something to touch early rather than something finished late, and you can correct course while it is still cheap.
- 04
Live
Shipped, in use, used by your people. Done does not mean signed off — done means it runs in everyday work.
What we do not do
So nobody wastes their time — us included.
- No template builders. If an off-the-shelf tool is enough, we say so instead of rebuilding it expensively.
- No advertising or social media management. We build the systems, not the campaigns.
- No projects without a contact inside the business. Without someone allowed to answer questions, software gets built past the actual need.
- No emergency rescue of somebody else's system under time pressure. Taking over existing work, yes — but with time to understand it first.
Where we come from
Fortuna Digital grew out of running an operation of our own. Fortuna Cleaning did not need marketing, it needed a system: jobs, staff, checklists, time tracking, photos, sign-off. That system is built and in use.
What works for a cleaning operation works for other businesses with similar friction. That is what we now build for others.
What we work with
- FrontendNext.js, TypeScript, React
- DataPostgreSQL, APIs
- MobileProgressive web apps
- OperationsAutomated deployments
